It's all go around here!

I've just noticed it's more that two weeks since I last blogged! Bad blogger lady!
It's been busy, busy, busy around here. Work is mental with preparing for the new student intake, the new lower 6th students start on Monday, and while that's not my area I will be going to work armed with my ear plugs in an attempt to block out the racket made by 700 or so 16 year olds with no idea where they should be going or what they should be doing!
The kids have been busy. Ewan has taken his first independant steps (Lord help us!) and thinks he's the dogs dangly bits when he's toddling around. This is him standing on his own - shortly before plonking himself unceremoniously back onto his bum (probably before Gracie pushed him!).

He had his first hair cut today, which is probably a good thing, he was starting to get this whole Richard Ashcroft/Verve thing going on, which was cute, but not every practical when you're only just starting to walk if you can't see past your fringe. We had to bribe him with a biscuit to sit still, but needs must!

Grace has been busy modelling Kendo's Saints shirt whilst cheering them on to their Challenge Cup victory (Go Saints!)

Super-Saints

Kendo's been busy getting the garden into something resembling habitable (it's only take us 9 years!) but we managed to get out for a garden picnic over the weekend (up our nice new garden steps) which was good fun (and actually vaguely sunny for a change!).

One last photo of Grace. It doesn't really have anything to do with anything, except that she looks cute in it ;) Butter wouldn't melt.... or so you'd think. Shame she's a holy terror the rest of the time!

Sorry this is a bit photo intensive, but a picture paints a thousand words and all that!
On the topic of painting a thousand words, I still haven't completed anything for Shimelle's class that I signed up for, but then I pretty much haven't done anything remotely scrapbookish for weeks. Slacker.
I am working on a patchwork quilt at the minute so I will post photos of that once it's been given to the recipient, wouldn't want to spoil the surprise on that one ;)
That's it for now, I promise to try to be a better cookie blogger from now on....... well, what else am I going to do once the dark nights start drawing in ;)
