Cat or No Cat?

Help, I’m being ganged up on!!!

We’d mentioned at some point getting some more cats/kittens (one for each of the kids). It was one of those “sometime in the future” things, but Kendo seems to have the idea stuck in his head now, and after speaking to Kerry at the weekend and finding out that they have a pair of 5 month old kittens in the Cats Protection that will shortly be ready for rehoming I’m faced with the serious possibility that I might soon be sharing my house with these two little fellas.

Gracie has already named them, and whenever Ewan sees their picture he makes an excited face and meow noises and tries to kiss it. See. Ganged up on.

Time to take out part shares in Pets at Home, possibly? Watch this (temporarily unfurry) space.

Craftwise, I’m working on a knitted bear at the moment (what can I say, I’m addicted to making these things, and knitting is SOOOO relaxing). Basically the same pattern as the rabbit with different ears… but I have yet to work out how to make them! I was also going to do some sewing but in all the massive pile of fabric I have I couldn’t find so much has a fat quarter that fitted what I wanted to make. I’ll have to have a scout round on Ebay and see what I can find.

I’m in work all week this week, which is a serious shock to the system (just having 5 minutes time out from spreadsheet and exam results before my brain bleeds out my ears) and I’ve been up since 5.30am (which Ewan decided was waking up time this morning. Grrrrrr). Roll on Saturday when we’re going out (sans sproglets) for a meal and back to Ju-lie’s house for some Wii bowling. The best thing is the kids are out overnight so we don’t have to get up early Sunday. Woo hoo!!

TTFN – back to the grind stone.

Aw puddy tats! The answer should always be "yes".
What happened to Scully, anyway?

I would have a house full of cats if it were up to me . But then I'm a mad cat-lady.

How could you possibly say no to those adorable little kittens? ;)

You know, you're lucky it's just cats. We went out with friends last night and we were talked into buying another horse. And he's not even ridable.
