I can hardly believe it. My little girl is turning 4 (a big 4 as she would say) today. I think it’s safe to say that I’m feeling old today. It really is the strangest thing, because I’m sure it was just last week we were celebrating her (too early) arrival, and here she is, a big 4, almost ready to start school. Scary.

I’m sure in future years Grace will learn to loathe the fact that her birthday falls so close after Christmas. Everyone’s all partied out and just about recovering from the New Year, the Christmas decorations have just come down and every seems to be getting back to the daily grind. Of course, when you’re (a big) 4, that’s less of a problem, because even if everyone else isn’t feeling it, you just plough on regardless and have a merry old time on your own.

Here's a shot of the Birthday girl opening her presents this morning:

She got a couple of parcels in the post this morning, which was a nice surprise. Including one from her best BW buddies Emily and Xander (Thanks Auntie Lou ;)).
